Greater Irmo Chamber of Commerce (GICC)

As a future member of this organization, it is our goal to provide networking opportunities for you and your business. Our community is experiencing substantial growth, and it is our desire that you and your business grow along with us. We provide the best possible business climate for our members, and we have a friendly Chamber Staff and Board of Directors waiting to assist you.

The purpose of the Greater Irmo Chamber of Commerce is to acquaint, market and promote the communities and businesses in our zip code areas of 29022, 29063, 29210, and 29212. The Greater Irmo Chamber of Commerce will achieve these objectives by marketing and promoting economic, civic, social, tourism, and cultural programs designed to strengthen and expand the communities and businesses.

You and your Company's involvement in the Chamber will enhance your Company, the Chamber, and the Irmo community as a whole. Your participation in the many events we offer enables networking with both big and small businesses in the community. Following are some additional opportunities that membership will bring you.

- Grand Opening with Irmo Dignitaries - Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
(Available only on Tuesday or Thursday)

- Membership Monthly Luncheon
Held on the second Wednesday of each month (except June and December). One sponsor per meeting will give you the opportunity to advertise and speak about your business.

- Co-Host a Business After-Hours Meeting

- Advertise on the Chamber's Electronic Reader Board or Web Site

- Have your Company in the "Spotlight" in the Chamber newsletter "The Lighthouse"

- Sponsor special events which puts your company's name in front of the public: Ambassador Gala, Merlyne Larsen Scholarship, Golf Tournament, SCE&G Summer Outing, Miss Greater Irmo and Miss Greater Irmo Teen Pageant, Okra Strut, Chamber Travel Adventure, Silent/Live Auction and Oyster Roast.

- Bid on supplies, equipment and improvements for the Chamber.

- Yearly blood screening provided by Lexington Medical Center.

- Blue Cross/Blue Shield has designed a special health insurance program exclusively for Chamber Members.

Basic Membership - $165.00

- One Company, One owner/employee, and One address location listed in   the Membership Directory

- Company will receive one Membership Directory, updates are made   upon receipt to sales@irmochamber.com; printed monthly and   distributed in same month to new and renewed members.

- One set of member mailing labels (upon request)

- On group web site with company name, contact, address and telephone

- Chamber will send e-mail or fax to over 650 members to notify of your   joining.

- Listed as a new member in "The Lighthouse" newsletter

- At renewal date company will be listed as a target member in "The   Lighthouse" newsletter

- Grand Opening with Irmo Dignitaries available only on Tuesday or   Thursday at 5:30pm

- Display your company business cards, brochures, and coupons in the   Chamber office

- Relocation Welcome Packages - Chamber can insert your material and   samples if provided

- Yearly blood screening provided by Lexington Medical Center

- One Company/Invoice, Two owners/employees, and Two branch   address locations listed in the Membership Directory

- On group web site with complete description of services your company   offers

Example: Basic Membership to Silver the difference is only $85.00. For that amount, your company will have their name listed 12 times a year in "The Lighthouse" newsletter, New Member packets, and New Membership Directory. Plus two weeks on the electronic reader board, two members listed in the directory and complete description of services on the web site.

VIP Gold Membership - $350.00

- One Company/Invoice, Three owners/employees, and Three branch   address locations listed in the Membership Directory

- Hyper-link to your company's web site from Chamber web page. Add   to your web page by providing a company logo, pictures and   description.

- Four weeks on Irmo Chamber Electronic Sign (Chamber's Community   Bulletin Board).
